The firm specialises in representing clients who have suffered personal injuries arising from an accident. As well as seeking to recover for the client damages for their pain and suffering we also aim to recover other losses which may have been incurred including the cost of private medical treatment, damaged belongings or lost earnings. We can arrange for ongoing treatment to assist in the recovery from the accident as well.

Funding

The firm operates a "no win no fee" scheme and we aim to recover our costs from the party responsible for your accident or their insurance company at the conclusion of your case. There are no up front costs and we aim to ensure that you receive the maximum amount of your compensation.

What type of accident can I claim for?

As a general rule if your accident occurred in the last 3 years or if you are aged under 21 you can make a claim for compensation in a wide range of circumstances where someone else was to blame or even if you were partly to blame. We are always happy to discuss the circumstances of your accident and will provide you with free advice to let you know if we consider you have a justifiable claim.

Accidents at Work

If you suffered an accident while at work or while working and it was caused by your employer, another employee or someone visiting your place of work you are entitled to make a claim. Employers have strict duties to ensure the safety of their workers.

Have you suffered an injury through:

  • Lifting or handling items, equipment or people
  • Dangerous or defective equipment
  • Dangerous or poor work practices
  • Tripping over hazards on the workplace floor
  • Slipping on a wet floor
  • Received no or insufficient training for your task
  • In any other circumstance where you feel someone else was to blame for what happened to you even where you might have been partly to blame yourself

If any of the above applies to you contact us NOW for free advice.

If you were seriously injured and have or are still suffering from lower or lost earnings we will aim to recover these lost earnings for you and if possible obtain interim payments to assist your finances while you recover.

Tripping or Slipping Accidents

If you have tripped or slipped in an area where someone is responsible for maintaining that area and for your safety you may have a claim. Such areas can be wide ranging and can include shops, shopping centres, parks, pavements, restaurants and public houses, steps, car parks, airports and so on.

Road Traffic Accidents

Despite this country having a safer road transport system than many other countries this is still the largest area of personal injury claims.

If you were injured in a road traffic accident whether you were the driver or a passenger or if you were a motor cyclist, cyclist or pedestrian you could be entitled to make a claim.

Even if you do not have the details of the person responsible for your accident or if they were not insured you may still be able to make a claim. We can tell you how to make that claim and help you through the process.

If you are insured be aware that your insurer may insist on handling your claim themselves. However, this could affect your no claims bonus. Furthermore your insurance company may have commercial links with the insurance company from which you are claiming and so they may not have your best interests at heart. In circumstances such as this you need unbiased independent representation to ensure you receive a fair settlement.

Other Accidents

Accidents can occur in a wide range of circumstances but if somebody else was responsible or if steps could have been taken to have avoided the accident you may be entitled to make a claim. We have represented people where they have suffered injuries in widely differing circumstances such as:

  • Falling through a manhole cover in a car park
  • Sustaining injuries on a defectively repaired bicycle
  • An accident caused when a pony and trap turned over
  • A stumble and fall over a missing stopcock cover

Whatever the circumstances of your accident you may be entitled to make a claim so call now and we can advise you.
